MISSION AND GOALS OF THE ACUPUNCTURE ALLIANCE

The mission of the Acupuncture Alliance is to:

• foster high-quality health care, professional development and research;
• expand public awareness and understanding of the profession;
• integrate acupuncture and Oriental medicine into American health care;
• promote wider consumer access to acupuncture and Oriental medical services;
• foster open discussion, broad representation and empowerment of members at organizational, state, regional and national levels.

The goals of the National Alliance are to achieve:

• legislation in all fifty states
• greater consumer access
• fair reimbursement for our professional services
